The Ford
Field and River Club
A storied sanctuary in the Georgia Lowcountry, The Ford has roots that reach back more than a century to 1917, when American industrialist Henry Ford first encountered the land. Overlooking the Ogeechee River, this lowcountry refuge instantly staked a claim in Ford’s imagination. He and his wife Clara soon claimed it as their winter retreat.
